A focused manual workflow

One tap for each new word

The imported file supplies each line’s start and end. The first word uses the line start automatically; replay the line and stamp every following word with the timing button or T.

This page deliberately avoids the waveform, whole-song timeline, project saving, and automatic generation available in the paid editor.

Start with line timing

Import LRC, SRT, or WebVTT. The separate line tool can create that file and send it here directly.

Slow difficult vocals

Use 0.5× or 0.75× speed, loop one line, and restart it without affecting your saved words.

Correct small misses

Move an individual word by five hundredths of a second or undo the most recent stamps.

Private by design

The lyric file, audio, word timings, and download remain in this browser session.

Word timing questions

What file should I start with?

Use an LRC, SRT, or WebVTT file that already has complete-line timing. If you only have plain lyric text, make the line timing first in the separate Manual Line Timestamp Creator.

Why does the first word already have a time?

The first word inherits the line start. Play or loop that line, then tap each following word when it begins.

What does this tool export?

It exports Enhanced LRC with an inline timestamp for each word. Compatible players can use those timestamps for karaoke-style word highlighting.

How is automatic word timing different?

This free tool requires you to tap every word yourself. Paid LyricTime analyzes the whole song automatically and opens the result in the advanced word editor.
